Competition will be held on Sennelager Training Area, ALMA Ranges Transportation to ranges with official Bundeswehr-vehicles only ! (Shuttle-service Camp Staumuehle / ALMA Ranges and back)

B. SCORING
a. Scoring depends on the summary of rings (10, 9, 8 etc.) and hidden targets (falling plates) Tie breaking:

1. a)  ring target: number of highest rings (number of 10, number of 9, etc.)
   
2. b)  falling plates: greatest number of hits at 300 m, than 200 m, than 100 m
   
3. c)  If there are more than the necessary hits on one target, the unnecessary hits will be
   crossed out after this rule: One low; One high!

Reasons for disqualification:
- Break of the competition-rules
- Using of prohibited remedy
- Any kind of illegal device / weapon-manipulation
Other reasons will be decided in an individual case by the protest committee.

Alcuni suggerimenti per chi desidera partecipare alla competizione / Some suggestions for competition participants:

1. Per chi viene in aereo, si consiglia per la vicinanza ai luoghi chiave di atterrare all'aeroporto di Malpensa  / for who is coming via airplane, it is recommended to land in Malpensa airport, the nearest to the competition and the ceremony sites.
2. Per chi usufruisce dell'alloggio campale previsto, è consigliabile portare le proprie brandine da campo. For who is going to use our camp tents, it is better to take with you your own camp beds

Militärischer Team-Wettkampf 2013

Am 26./27. April 2013 findet in Bern der erste internationale militärische Team-Wettkampf statt. In sechs Schiessübungen 

mit Sturmgewehr und Pistole werden die Schiessfertigkeiten und minimalen taktischen Fertigkeiten von Zweierteams 

geprüft. Austragungsort ist der Schiessplatz Sand in Schönbühl bei Bern.

Teilnahmeberechtigt sind ausländische Armeeangehörige und Reservisten, Angehörige der Schweizer Armee, des

 Grenzwachtkorps und der Polizei sowie Angehörige von ausserdienstlichen Organisationen.

Am Vorabend des Wettkampfes findet ein gemeinsames Programm zur Kontaktpflege statt.

Anmeldeschluss ist der 28. Februar 2013.

20th International shooting competition in honor of colonel O.Kalpaks (1-2 MAR 2013)

1.   To ascertain the best shooters in the Zemessardze (National Guard) of the Republic of Latvia.

2.   To continue the corporation between the Zemessardze of the Republic of Latvia and armed forces from other countries.

Place and time.

The competition will take place in Riga, Cieceres street 9 and will be held from 1^th to 2^nd of March, 2013.

Organisers.

The competition will be organised by the National Guard and Latvian Shooting Federation. Participation fee is 75 euro (per team). Please transfer this amount to Latvian Shooting federation. Registration number: 40008024596.

Participants.

1.   Teams and individual participants from Latvian National Guard battalions.

2.   Teams from foreign countries.

Disciplines.

1.   Shooting with cal.22 LR pistols Margolin (Russia), MC, MCM, MC Margo in 25m distances. International sport pistol shooting target. Preliminary shot and 3 competition series with 5 shots:                                                          Preliminary shot 1 sighting series – 5 shots in 150 seconds;

1^st competition series – 5 shots in 12 seconds;

2^nd competition series – 5 shots in 10 seconds;              

3^rd competition series – 5 shots in 8 seconds.

2.   Shooting with duty (service) pistols. Calibre 7,62mm – 11,43mm. Length of barrel – not longer than 135 mm. Distance – 15 metres. International sport pistol shooting target (diameter 50cm).     Preliminary shot 1 sighting series – 5 shots in 5 minutes. Competition series hooting from standing position and from the knee 8+8 shots with magazine change. Time – 5 minutes. Starting position – one or both hands in 45⁰.

3.   Shooting with submachine guns MP – Carl Gustaf M45. Calibre – 9x19 mm. Distance – 50 metres. Shooting from prone position:

    Preliminary shot 1 sighting series – 5 shots in 5 minutes;                                                                                 

    1 competition series – 30 shots in 5 minutes.

Both days competition will be held in all 3 disciplines. Team consists from 3 shooters, which are appointed before the competition.

The competition will be held according the shooting rules certified by the Latvian Shooting Federation.

1.   Military rapid fire - special competition between countries champion teams. Shooting with cal.22 LR pistols Margolin (Russia), MC, MCM, MC Margo in the international rapid-fire targets. Team consists of 3 shooters. Distance – 25 metres. Competition consists of:

            Preliminary shot 1 sighting series – 5 shots in 10 seconds;

1^st competition series – 5 shots in 10 seconds;

2^nd competition series – 5 shots in 10 seconds;

3^rd competition series – 5 shots in 8 seconds;

4^th competition series – 5 shots in 8 seconds;

5^th competition series – 5 shots in 6 seconds;

6^th competition series – 5 shots in 6 seconds.

Weapons.

Organisers will provide competition teams with weapons and ammunition.

Dress code.

Participants are requested to wear combat dress or service dress uniform during the competition and also to have military ID (soldier; home guard; reservist).

CAMBRIAN PATROL - WALES - 19/28 OCTOBER 2012

Exercise CAMBRIAN PATROL is the premier patrolling event of the British Army which is held in Wales and hosted by 160 (W) Brigade. For 2012 it will run from 19 October until 28 October. The exercise is held in Wales and is organised by HQ 160 (W) Brigade on behalf of HQ 5 Div, as directed by HQ Land in the Land Command Plan. Cambrian Patrol is arduous and concentrates on leadership, teamwork, physical fitness and achieving the mission. It also draws participants from foreign countries. The Cambrian Patrol is an exercise and not a competition. It is conducted for the benefit of units and there is no final order of merit. The exercise is designed to be within the capability of any well-led and well-trained patrol from any Arm or Service. The exercise is the same for Regular and Reserve Forces patrols. The aim of The Cambrian Patrol is to provide a challenging patrols exercise in order to develop operational capability.Units should apply using the application form which can be found in the Documents download panel on the right. Copies of the application should also be sent to the unit's Brigade or Divisional HQ. Units are welcome to bid to enter several teams, however, last minute withdrawals due to a failure to anticipat commitments or train adequately are extremely unwelcome and may prevent other units from participating. Bids are to show preference for dates/phases. The closing date for bids will be 07 September 2012 and details confirming unit acceptance, timings, comprehensive rules and preliminary joining instructions will be issued after this date. Receipts of all bids will be acknowledged. The organisers' decision on allocation will be final. Reserve Forces units are to note that they must be prepared to report between 0400 hrs (earliest) and 1030 hrs (latest) on Friday 19 October 2012 or Friday 26 October 2012. Units must adhere to these timings. Exact timings for each unit will be contained in the warning order which will be issued nearer the date of deployment. An entry fee of £60 per patrol made payable to 'HQ 160 (W) Bde Central Bank' should be enclosed with the application and is not refundable after the bid is accepted in August. Forms received without an entry fee will be returned. The entry fee for foreign teams is also £60, payable by UK cheque or by cash on arrival. (A contribution from these funds will be donated to the ABF The Soldiers' Charity if any monies are left over once all exercise expenses have been paid). Foreign units are encouraged to enter teams on The Cambrian Patrol. There is a requirement for these teams to be hosted by British units. Wherever possible allied and affiliated units should be used. However, there may be a requirement for units on the same phase as foreign teams to assist with hosting if the above arrangements cannot be met.
