IV RAID ARES - TORRES DE LA ALAMEDA - Operation Alameda Torres de la Alameda, Madrid. Spain. April 25th, 26th y 27th, 2014.

Operation Alameda

IV ARES Tactical Raid:
The Raid will consist on 15 tactical and sport trials along a march route of about 14 Kmts.

- ARES members.
- Spanish and Allied Armed Forces reservists.
- Spanish and Allied Armed Forces active members. 

- Police and Security Forces and Civil Protection.
- Spanish Armed Forces veterans.

DOCUMENTATION: Passport or ID-card.

AVAILABLE PLACES: 150 participants.

- Teams of 4 members.
- Individuals can register and would be assigned to a team by the organization.

Camp inside sport facility.
The organization will provide Friday and Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch. Breakfasts and meals during the competition will not be provided by the organization. The supply of water and food during the competition will be under competitor’s responsibility.

In the check-in (Friday), meal vouchers will be delivered to the participant teams for Friday and Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch. For accompanying persons, meal vouchers will be sold that same day.

Friday, April 25th
19:00: Teams Check-in
20:00: Inauguration Ceremony
21:00: Dinner.
22:30: Raid Briefing
00:00: The competition can start at any moment.

Saturday, April 26th
20:00: End of Competition. 21:30: Dinner and Party.

Sunday, April 27th
11:00: Formation and ceremony drill 12:00: Prize and closing Ceremony 13:00: Lunch

Teams would send a single e-mail to register the four team members. 
Individual registrations will be allowed and will be assigned to a team. 

The deadline for registration is April 16th, 2014

Steps for registration:

1. Bank Transfer to:
Caja de Ingenieros, account number: 3025 0003 90 1433241696, referencing the inscription to the ARES RAID.

2.,including the participants data: 
Name, surname. ID-Card or Passport Number.

Equipment provided by the organization:

At the start of each stage a topographic map, a control car and a route sheet with detailed instructions will be provided to each team.
All specific equipment necessary for the execution of each trial contest will be provided by de organization except for gloves and airsoft protection goggles.
For certain trials airsoft guns will be needed. The organization will provide them for those competitors not carrying their own ones. However, all competitors must wear their own airsoft protection goggles and the organization will not provide them.

Personal Equipment.
Each team member should be equipped with:

  • -  Cold and rain clothes
  • -  Sleeping bag and mat
  • -  Whistle
  • -  Airsoft protection goggles
  • -  Protection gloves

Additional optional Equipment
  • -  Spare clothes and shoes
  • -  Sun glasses
  • -  Energetic food
  • -  Pocket knive or multi-tool
  • -  Airsoft gun and BB’s
    - Each team should be equipped with compass and Firs Aid Kit - The organization will provide topographic maps.

    During the competition, campaign uniform by ordinances of the units of the participants.

    The Raid will consist on a series of tactical and sport trials and pass controls along march route of about 14 Kmts. There could be some changes for meteorological or unpredicted causes.

    Additional information about directions and the competition will be provided to the registered teams the weeks before the competition.
