NORWEGIAN RECON TEAM COMPETITION - Camp Elvegårdsmoen September 6.–8th 2013 - NORWAY

Norwegian Reserve Officers Association has the pleasure to invite you to Norwegian Recon Team Competition at Camp Elvegårdsmoen near Narvik during the period of September 6. – 8th 2013. 
Check Points will include Medical First Aid, Radio Communication, Shooting, Obstacle Course and Emergency Handling. There will be Surprises and Challenges for you and your team. 

Attendance:
Camp Elvegårdsmoen, 8530 Bjerkvik, Friday September 6th between 15.30 and 19.00 hours.

Regulations:
The competitors compete in teams. Remark: each team consists of four men and/or women. Team/squad leader must hold the rank of officer. There is only one classification.
We demand that the competitors are of good health and the team must be capable of navigating in unknown terrain.
The competition will take place mostly during daylight and some of it during darkness at a total length of around 30 kilometres. Running time will count considerably.
Every competitor must carry a pack of minimum 7 kilos throughout the competition or minimum 28 kilos by the team. Water not included. The team must be prepared to take on additional gear. Necessary equipment should consist of compass, pencil and notebook, first aid equipment, knife, food and water for the period of competition and the necessary clothing according to the time of the year. Please note that you are not allowed to carry GPS or similar electronic devises. Private maps not allowed.

Dress Code:
Combat uniform and boots.

Administration:

The competition commences early Saturday morning and will end late Saturday evening. The teams must be self-supplied for the time of the competition. Accommodations will be arranged in Barracks. Bring sleeping bag and sleeping mat. Shower facilities available. After the competition on Saturday evening there will be a social event/BBQ. Prize giving ceremony takes place on Sunday morning.

21th Edition Netherlands International Shooting Competition - 11th till 13th of October 2013 - Harskamp - The Netherlands

The " Netherlands International Shooting Competition for Reserves " will take place during the weekend of 11 till 13 of October 2013 and will be organized by the Reservists Shooting Committee (RSC) of the Netherlands Armed Forces Federation of Reservists (NRFK).

Registration

The NRFK is a co-operation of the associations for reserves KVNRO and AVRM.

This competition has the official approval of the Commander-in-Chief of the Netherlands Army Forces.

NISC is the Dutch contribution to the International Military Shooting Competitions within NATO and partner-states.

Shooting in a team of 3 persons 

A. Pistol Glock 17

The Glock exercise starts with a sighting practice of 5 rounds standing in 30 seconds.

Competition "NISC 2013"

Practices 1 to 3 are counting practices.

Practice 1 is 10 rounds in the prone position in 20 secs on 1 target

Practice 2 is 10 rounds kneeling in 20 seconds on 1 target.

Practice 3 is standing 2x5 rounds in 30 seconds on 1 target, consisting of centric circles with points.

All these practices are at a distance of 25 meter 

B- Rifle Diemaco C7

The Diemaco C7 exercise starts with a sighting practice of 6 rounds in 30 seconds at distances of consequently 100 meter, 200 meter and 300 meter. The counting exercise starts with:

Practice 1: standing 10 rounds in 35 seconds at 1 target at 100 meter.

Practice 2 is sitting 2 x 4 rounds in 35 seconds at 1 target at 100 meter.

Practice 3 is kneeling 2 x 4 rounds in 8 times 3 seconds at 1 target at 200 meter. 

c. Rifle Fal

The Fal exercise is the same as the Diemaco C7 exercise.

NOTE : In the booklet which you receive at the registration, you will find the extensive version of the three shooting exercises 

During the day you have the possibility to shoot in a virtual combat at the small arms trainer, which is located in the army camp.A shuttle-bus service will run constantly during the day. This experience is not a part of the competition, although a special price is available

ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION

2. The arrival at the hotel MUST be NO later than 16:30 on 13 September
2013;
3. The organizer provides food, accommodation, weapons, ammunition, local
transport and wonderful atmosphere (all included in the price).
4. The fee is PLN 370 (or equivalent in EURO at the exchange rate from 13 September 2013) per participant, paid on arrival at the registration office or
to the following account (Note! New account number);
5. The registration office is open at the hotel between 12:00 – 20:00 and 21:00 –

6. 4-people teams are allowed at the competition;
7. Each participant should have their own binoculars for checking trial rounds; 8. Invitations are sent to NATO Reserve Forces, Russia, Polish Reserve Forces
Associations, Police Associations, shooting sections and shooting
associations.
9. During the competition on 14 September 2013, field uniforms of your
countries or sportswear are preferred. During official ceremonies and social
evenings, mess uniforms or suits are preferred.
10. The date of your arrival or departure can be individually agreed upon prior
notification
11. The organizers reserve the right to change the program and the trials.
12. Enrollment forms MUST be sent no later than 23 AUGUST 2013 to the email address: snajper.poznan@wp.pl; enrollment forms received after this date WILL NOT be accepted.
13. Number of teams limited to 40 due to technical conditions. The organizers reserve the right to limit the number of teams from one organization.
