International Friendship Shooting - Bernex shooting range in the Canton of Geneva -Saturday September 08, 2012








The International Friendship Shooting will take place once again in Switzerland, at the stand de tir de BERNEX (Bernex shooting range in the Canton of Geneva), Saturday September 08, 2012 at 8.30 a.m.
You can participate individually or by team of 3 officers or warrant officers belonging to the same organization, group or country.

Organized by the AORSL, in collaboration with the Military Society of Geneva (SMG) and the Central Company of Military Shooting (la Centrale), this competition consists of 5 trials, totalising 60 cartridges, using 5 Swiss military weapons : (Individual weapons are prohibited.)

         At 300 m assault rifle SIG 90 - assault rifle SIG 57 – rifle mousqueton 31
         At 50 m and 25 m guns SIG 210 - SIG 220

Additional, optional shootings and outside contest could be carried out with various hand weapons.

Cups and medals will reward the winners of each discipline. A patent of war weapons mastery will be given to the gunners having reached the necessary scores.

This year we hold the Challenge « François Gervaise » - in memorandum of our deceased comrade - to the competitor having the highest number of 10, across all categories and weapons, and a second challenge awarded to the best shooter at 50 metres in memorandum of our friend « Maurice Peillonnex » our cantonal gunsmith abruptly departed on April 10, 2012.

At midday, a meal will be served in the shooting range.  Combat outfit is recommended; failing this, a sport civil outfit.
To avoid any problem at the border crossing,  you are requested to dress in military outfit only after the arrival at the shooting range of Bernex.

The number of participants being limited, please send immediately by mail only your inscription form, (the payment is 80 euros or 100 Swiss francs this includes the shooting fees, ammunition, lunch and closure drink), imperatively before September 1st, 2012.

6.th Mid-range Shooting Competition for  BALKAN LIGUE

which will take place on Saturday, 14.09.2013 on the Military shooting range: Bac na Pocku (near Town
Pivka - Slovenia).

 The event will be held in the following shooting disciplines:

1. Sniper rifle, 300 m -optics
2. Sniper rifle, 500 m -optics
3. Sniper rifle, 700 m -optics


The competition it self will start at 8.00 am. In case of bad weather, the match will be postponed to a new termin/date. Duration of the competition is 25 minutes for each series, followed by changing targets and preparation of new shooters – thate will take aprox. take 20 min., than once aggain followed by new series of shooting for 25 min. in all disciplines (except 700m, which will have double time 25min for prep + 25min for Comp.).

Competitors are entitled to compete on any of the shooting disciplines. Entry fees for Pre-registrated
Shooters will be paid before the competition (25 € for two disciplines (300m+500m) in one Category (TR or OPEN) + extra 5€ for comptiting in other category + another 5€ for competing in discipline 700m). Meal is included in competitor`s fee.. Competitors duty is, to withbring their own Rifle and Ammunition. Non Pre-registrated Shooters will have to pay 30 € Entry fee for two Disc. in one Cat.!!!

Weapons and equipment will be grouped into the next two shooting Categories (close to F-Class shooting):

- Target Rifle (TR) category;
- OPEN category


Conditions for participation in the "Target Rifle" category:

In the category of "TR" are permitted only bipod type front rests, or Backpack (rifle itself must not hold the direction, ie. position toward the targets), behind the rifle (under the stock) is permited only soft seat (cushion, shooter's hand, ...). Competitor in this category can use following Calibers: 7.62 NATO (.308 Win), 5.56Nato (.223 Rem), 8X57IS, and 7,62x54R., muzzle brakes are forbidden, max. Weight of Rifle with Optics and Bi-pod attached is 8.25 kg.


For rifles with optical sights in category "OPEN" there is allowed to use two pointed Rifle Rests, the front one must be hard (bipod, rifle rest, wooden stand, ...) and behind udner the stock a soft rear seat (cushion, rabbit ears,…), and they must be in use seperate way. Caliber is limited up to 8,6mm (Army Shooting
Elaborate), muzzle brakes are permited, weight of Rifle with Optics and Bi-pod, sling, … attached is limited to max. 10.00 kg.

Weapons and ammunition must function safely. Test shots are not showing in any special way to the contester/shooter (each
competitor is therefore required to provide their own equipment -Spotting Scope, binoculars, ...), time for shooting test shots is
included in the total competition time of 25 minutes without interruption for the transition to the competitive part of shooting.

There isn´t any other special restrictions. If a contestant is in doubt about the suitability of weapons, equipment,... should contact the contest organizer's on the official e-mail address!

Penalties: failure to follow instructions/orders of the judge on the line (or other safety officers, range master, head judge,…) interference with other shooters, or any other unsportsmanlike behavior will be followed by the first warning from the judge on the shooting line, the second warning means taking two lap points from the result, the third warning means the disqualification (DQ) of the competitor from the competition. All large violations of the Security (turn weapons against competitors, uncontrolled triggering in any other way except against at the target, shooting before or after the mark of competition,…) is the reason for the disqualification of the shooter. The judge's decision on DQ of individual is final and without possibility of appeal.

SAFETY:

• Tthe safe handling of weapons MUST be strictly respected on the contest!
• Arms can handled only by the permit on the shooting line – allowed by judges, and nowhere else, except in a Safety zone!
• Weapons must be pointed in a safe direction! Except during the shooting, arms should always have open bolt or lock. visibly
secured and without an inserted magasine!
• Weaing the protective (hearing and eye protection) equipmen on the range is obligated for all particypants!
• Each competitor competes at his own risk!

21st NISC - Netherlands International Shooting Competition for Reserves - Infantry Shooting Camp (I.S.K.) at HARSKAMP - the Netherlands - Friday 11th, Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th of October 2013






The " Netherlands International Shooting Competition for Reserves " will take place during the weekend of 11, 12 et 13 October 2013 and will be organized by the Reservists Shooting Commit­tee of the Netherlands Armed Forces Federation of Reservists (NRFK), which is a co-operation of the associations for reserves KVNRO and AVRM.
This competition has the official approval of the Commander-in-Chief of the Netherlands Army Forces.

The NISC is the Dutch contribution to the International Military Shooting Competitions within NATO and partner-states.

1.       Dates:  Friday 11th , Saturday 12th  &  Sunday 13th  of October 2013

2.       Locations:
         
          - Hotel & Mess:               Army Camp "HARSKAMP"
                                                          Generaal Winkelmankazerne

          - Shooting:                     Infantry Shooting Camp (I.S.K.) at HARSKAMP,
                                                 the Netherlands

3.       Participation:
         
          Participation in NISC 2013 is open to teams consisting of 3 marksmen.
          Only a maximum of 45 teams can be enrolled !
NOTE: Civilians cannot have access to any military facility nor NISC
activity.

Registration and enrolment will be on a "first come, first served" basis.
A maximum of 3 teams per participating organisation is appli­cable.
Additional places can be offered if the maximum of 45 teams has not
been reached.

5.  Arrival and Registration:
You are expected on Friday 11 October 2013 between 16.00 hrs and 20.00 hrs.

In the Army Camp you follow the signs "NISC".
Parking of private cars is only permitted on the marked parking places and parking area's.

When arriving by train you should disembark at  RAILWAY STATION EDE-WAGENINGEN.
When you call (from there) tel. nr. +31-650 666 998 (NISC-organisation LtCol Garrels), you will be picked up as soon as possible at the Railway Station by military trans­portation. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the Railway Station to the Army Camp Harskamp.

Upon arrival your personal and team identification will be checked at the registration desk.
You are requested to pay the registration fee (cash) at that moment. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED.
At the same time you’re asked to sign a statement in which you declare that you shall not hold the Netherlands Ministry of Defence responsible in case of physical accidents and/or material damage.
Each participant will receive a programme-booklet of NISC 2013

For the protection of their personal belongings all participants are to bring a small padlock to attach to their individual locker, which is next to the bed in the team bedrooms.
On every bed you will find a quilt and sheets. (You don’t need to bring your own sleeping bag! )


6.  The Shooting Competition
The NISC 2013 competition comprises three shooting exercises: the Glock 17 pistol, the rifle Fal 7,62 mm and the rifle Diemaco C7 5,56 mm.

A.   Pistol Glock 17

The Glock exercise starts with a sighting practice of 5 rounds standing in 30 seconds. Practices 1 to 3 are counting practices. Practice 1 is 10 rounds in the prone position in 30 secs on 1 target. Practice 2 is 10 rounds kneeling in 30 seconds on 1 target. Practice 3 is standing 10 rounds in 30 seconds on 1 target, consisting of centric circles with points.
All these practices are at a distance of 25 meters

B.   Rifle Diemaco C7

The Diemaco C7 exercise starts with a sighting practice of 6 rounds in 30 seconds at distances of consequently 100 meter, 200 meter and 300 meter.
The counting exercise starts with practice 1: standing 10 rounds in 35 seconds at 1 target at 100 meter. Practice 2 is sitting 2 x 4 rounds in 35 seconds at 1 target at 100 meter. Practice 3 is kneeling 2 x 4 rounds in 8 times 3 seconds at 1 target at 200 meter. Practice 4 is in prone position 2 x 4 rounds in 8 times 3 seconds at 1 target at 300 meter.


C.   Rifle FAL

The FAL exercise is the same as the Diemaco C7 exercise.



NOTE : In the booklet which you receive at the registration, you’ll find a more elaborate explanation of the three shooting exercises

During the day you have the possibility to shoot in a virtual combat  at the small arms trainer (SAT), which is located in the army camp. A shuttle-bus service will run constantly during the day. This experience is not a part of the competition.

7.  Farewell and Departure

The programme will end on Sunday the 13h of October 2013 at approximately 10.00


hrs. For participants travelling by train, transportation will be available to RAILWAY STATION EDE-WAGENINGEN.



8.  Costs of participation
The registration fee, covering the whole weekend, amounts € 75,= per person (€ 225,= per team).
This amount includes breakfast and lunch at the ranges, the Gala Diner, awards, trans­portation and sleeping accommodation.
This amount is to be paid (cash in Euro's) at the registration desk upon arrival on Friday.

You are asked to inform the NISC-organisation by E-mail  about your decision to participate in the NISC by using the application-form enclosed.
The application form should be received by the NISC-organisation not later than the 20th  of September 2013     (20-09-2013).

Application forms are taken in and teams are enrolled in order of receipt.
Enrolment of teams cannot be guaranteed in case of receiving the application forms after the 20th of September  2013.
