Food and fresh water can be easily acquired locally at convenience stores during commercial hours (10:00 to 20:00). Local restaurants and bars usually open for breakfast early and do not close until 24:00. Each competitor must procure their own supply of fresh water and food during the competition.
MEALS VOUCHERS:
Meal vouchers will be delivered to the participant teams for Friday ́s and Saturday ́s dinner and Sunday ́s lunch at check-in time. Meal vouchers for guests can be requested and paid-for in advance during the registration process. Please reserve guest meals in advance via email to raid@ares- resvol.es.
TRAVELS:
Each participant must travel by his/her own means to the raid ́s site at Brunete.
Brunete is situated at the West of Madrid, 30 km from the city center, and 50 km from Madrid ́s Adolfo Suarez International ́s Airport.
International participants are welcome to enquire via email to raid@ares- resvol.es for directions/advice on the best travel combination from their arrival point to Spain.

20:00: Inauguration ceremony and competition briefing in Town ́s Theater. 21:00: Dinner.
After 21:00 the competition can start at any moment.
Saturday, April 27th
20:00: End of Competition. 21:30: Dinner and Party.
Sunday, April 28th
11:00: Formation and ceremony drill 11:30: Prize and closing Ceremony 13:00: Lunch
14:30: End of activities

Participation will be limited to 20 teams, admission by order of registration.
The first three registered teams will receive a gift from the organization.
Individual ́s without a team (or teams with less than four members) are allowed and will be assigned to a team/participant.

EQUIPMENT.
Equipment provided by the organization:
At the start of each stage a topographic map, or aerial picture, a control card and a route sheet with detailed instructions will be provided to each team.
All specific equipment necessary for the execution of each raid ́s trial will be provided for by the organization. The organization will not provide protective gloves, airsoft protection goggles and airsoft guns (see exception below for participants traveling from abroad). Each participant is individually responsible for bringing their own protective gear. PARTICIPANTS WITHOUT AIRSOFT PROTECTION GOGGLES SHALL BE DISQUALIFIED.
Personal Equipment.
Each team member must be equipped with:

- Cold and rain clothes.

- Airsoft protection goggles certified for this use.

- Flashlight or front light
- - Food and water.
- - Mobile Phone in Operating state. During the competition the mobile

must be kept switched off and will only be used in case of
emergency.
- Additional optional Equipment
- - Each patrol team should be equipped with compass and First Aid Kit.
- - Spare clothes and shoes.

- Sun glasses.
- - Hat or cap.
- - Energetic food.
- - Pocket knife or multi-tool.
- - Equipment for possible water crossing or swampy ground.
- - Airsoft gun and BB’s. It is not compulsory to carry airsoft guns during the
- Raid, however, extra scores can be attained in some individual trials if they are carried by the team(*)
- Airsoft gun’s used by the participants and the organization must fulfill usual
limited power requirements, included in our raid regulation: 350 fps maximum
power, as measured on the competition ́s date. Measurement tests will be
performed prior to the start of the competition by means of chronograph. Those
replicas found out of limits can still be carried during the competition but they
shall not be loaded nor used (batteries/gas will be withdrawn).

(*) – For international participants and to avoid the complications of
transporting airsoft guns by plane or through customs, the organization
can provide airsoft guns for rent at a nominal fee if requested in advance
at least three weeks before the competition. Please email us at
raid@ares-resvol.es to enquire.
- UNIFORM
- During the competition, military campaign uniform/fatigues as per the participant ́s own military unit. Travel to and from the Raid area using civilian clothes.
- TRIALS:
- The Raid will consist on a series of timed tactical and sport trials and pass controls along a timed march route in the countryside around the host village (Daganzo de Arriba). There could be some changes due to meteorological or unpredicted causes.
- ADITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Additional information about directions and the competition will be provided to the registered teams and individual participants in the weeks before the competition.

- HISTORICAL ENVIRONMENT: The competition will take place in the historical battlefield of Spanish Civil War’s Brunete Battle, one of the most remarkable in that war. In the area there are many remains of the battle. It will be possible to visit or spot some of them along the competition course.
- Whenever possible, depending on the competition development, the organization will provide pieces of historical information about those remains and their operativity in the battle context.

Location: X-35 The Airborne School at the Dunnellon Airport, Dunnellon, FL
Course Starts: 0800, 17 Oct 2017,
Course Ends: 1200, 22 Oct 2017, Sunday, 23 Oct 2017 is a Weather Day and for Straphangers.
This Primary Airborne Training course is designed for those who have not jumped before or who have not jumped a “Steerable Round Parachute" within the past 10 years. It will qualify the student on the SF-10 Canopy. The SF-10A canopy is the U.S. Army's newest steerable parachute for low-level assault. It is the canopy in the new MC-6 Parachute System.
This course includes,
Primary Airborne Training for 1st Jump Students, (No Night Jumps)
SF-10A Qualification and Packing Instruction on the MC-1/SF-10A parachute system,
6 Jumps, 3 from a Cessna 180, (Two Jumpers, Single Tapout ) & 3 from the the C-47 / SkyVan, 2 Slick, 1 w/ Drop Bag, if desired.
All jumps will be from 2,500 feet, unless there is a weather problem.
The minimum jump altitude is 1,250 feet.

X-35 The Airborne School's Primary Airborne Training manual (yours to keep)
Main, SF10A
Reserve, T-10R, SLCP MIRPS.
A 6 inch Hook Knife (yours to keep)
Equipment Bag for Last Jump.

For Military members, we will prepare a DA-1306 for each Jump.
X-35 The Airborne School's distinctive "Xperimental" Jump Wings.

The balance of $850.00 is due by 01 Oct 2017.

The first 20 deposits are guaranteed a Slot & 6 Jumps, 3 from the C-47 / SkyVan.
“Refresher Student”
Cost: $500 US.
Your slot will be reserved when you make a non-refundable $100 by 15 Sep 2017.
The balance of $400.00 is due by 01 Oct 2017.
A “Refresher Student” is defined as a jumper who has jumped a "Steerable Round Canopy" within the past 10 years. If you have not jumped a "Steerable Round Canopy" within 10 years you will need to take the Primary Airborne Course.
“Refresher Students” must participate in the Primary Airborne Course from Tuesday through Thursday. They will make 3 jumps from the Cessna-180, one on Wednesday and two on Thursday. At that time, they will be considered “Straphangers”. And, they may participate with the other Straphangers in the larger aircraft jumps. Packers will be on-site to pack your parachute should you choose not to. The cost is $25. You may keep the parachute equipment you are issued for the rest of the week at no additional charge other than Packing, if you desire.
This class does not include instruction on packing the parachute.
"Straphanger"
A "Straphanger" is defined as a jumper who has jumped a "Steerable Round Canopy" within the past 24 months. If you have not jumped a "Steerable Round Canopy" within the past 24 months, you will need to take a "Refresher". If you have not jumped a "Steerable Round Canopy" within 10 years you will need to take the Primary Airborne Course.
We would be pleased to have "Straphangers" join us to jump the C-47 / SkyVan, which will be available from Friday through Sunday .
There is a mandatory Straphanger briefing at 0800 Friday and Saturday mornings.
Straphanger Jumps from the Cessna-180 are $30 and from the C-47 or SkyVan they are $80.
As deposits are received, we are Slotting Straphangers into their preferred Chalk.
We expect to have 5 Straphanger Chalks on Friday and Saturday morning, 5 Straphanger Chalks on Friday and Saturday afternoon with 3 or 4 on Sunday.
Our parachute inventory continues to increase, we have 70 SF-10A canopies on MC1-1D harnesses and 30 complete MC1-1Ds.
They are available for Rent at $30 per day. Riggers are available to pack it for you at $25 per Pack Job. There is no charge for a Reserve, if you rent a Main. The Parachutes will be issued packed. You may jump them and repack them as many times as you desire, but they must be returned packed. If you do not have the time or desire to repack them, you can purchase a Packing Card for $30.
To reserve one or more Straphanger Slots, advise me what you would like and I will send you a PayPal Invoice for a $100.00 deposit that will hold up to 3 slots in the C-47 / SkyVan.
We will have Video available at a nominal charge.
We have attached the four local motels all within 5 miles of the airport.
In Ocala, 15 miles from the airport, are all the chain motels, Holiday Inn, Hilton, Ramada, etc. and some Camp Ground/RV sites. We have a few spaces open in the "Tent" that are available for $10 a day, please let us know if you'd like to have one.
We will cater lunch Tuesday through Sunday. For those who want to eat and are not enrolled in the course there will be a $15/Day charge.
The best airport for prices, number of flights and drive time to Dunnellon, is Orlando, MCO. It is about 90 miles and a 90 minute drive. There are plenty of rental cars.
Note: *should the SkyVan., not be available due to maintenance, it will be replaced with a C-47, Tico Belle

LEAPFEST 2017 INTERNATIONAL AIRBORNE COMPETITION - 3119 Ministerial Road, West Kingston, RHODE ISLAND - UNITED STATE of AMERICA - August 5th 2017
Leapfest is the largest, longest standing, international static line
parachute training event and competition.
Each team consists of 5 participants: 4 jumpers and 1 alternate jumper.
Jumpers exit from a CH-47 Chinook helicopter at an altitude of 1500 feet (457 meters) using an MC-6 static line, steerable, parabolic parachute.
Participants aim to land as close as possible to a marked,
designated area within the landing zone.
Upon landing and completing a PLF (parachute landing fall),
participants are timed by qualified judges until they reach the designated area.
This is both an individual and team event.
Each jumper must complete 2 jumps to be qualified for the individual award, and each team must complete 8 jumps
in total to be qualified for the team award.
In addition, we will be hosting a foreign jump exchange followed by a foreign jump wings pinning ceremony.
